New energy in the market
After a slower September, activity picked up again in October.
The total number of published assignments across the Nordics increased by +5.2 % compared to the previous month and by +12 % year-on-year.
At the same time, the number of consultants and freelancers who made themselves available for new assignments rose by +16.9 % – a sign of both high engagement and growing competition in the market.
💼 Roles that changed the most:
📈 Developer +5 %
📈 System Integrator +4 %
📈 DataX +3 %
📉 Project Manager −2 %
📉 System Technician / Operations Consultant −3 %
📉 Business Analyst −4 %
🏡 Remote work:
Around 12.8 % of all assignments in October allowed for full remote work – roughly the same level as in recent months.
At the same time, our AI – which now identifies assignments that were previously not classified as remote – shows that hybrid work is more common than earlier statistics suggested.
📈 The market is showing renewed energy, even if the balance between supply and demand continues to shift.
