New energy in the market
After a slower September, activity picked up again in October.
The total number of published assignments across the Nordics increased by +5.2 % compared to the previous month and by +12 % year-on-year.
At the same time, the number of consultants and freelancers who made themselves available for new assignments rose by +16.9 % β a sign of both high engagement and growing competition in the market.
πΌ Roles that changed the most:
π Developer +5 %
π System Integrator +4 %
π DataX +3 %
π Project Manager β2 %
π System Technician / Operations Consultant β3 %
π Business Analyst β4 %
π‘ Remote work:
Around 12.8 % of all assignments in October allowed for full remote work β roughly the same level as in recent months.
At the same time, our AI β which now identifies assignments that were previously not classified as remote β shows that hybrid work is more common than earlier statistics suggested.
π The market is showing renewed energy, even if the balance between supply and demand continues to shift.
