Can project momentum help us understand where the consulting market is heading?

The latest update of the Brainville Project Momentum Index (BPMI) is now available.

July 2026
📈 BPMI (3-month rolling): 115 (−0.2 vs June)

As expected, July brought a seasonal slowdown. The one-month BPMI fell to 111 (−11), while the 3-month rolling BPMI eased only marginally to 114.84.

Project Activity, Supply Pressure and Project Intensity all softened compared with June, but the broader momentum built up during late spring remains well above its historical average.
