More assignments, but a clear seasonal effect
The number of assignments across the Nordics was higher than in December 2024.
Compared with November, activity declined by just over 20%, which is not surprising in a month characterised by public holidays. This follows the normal seasonal pattern.
👩🔧 Available consultants
The number of consultants ready for new assignments was significantly higher than a year ago, but clearly lower than in November. Competition therefore remains relatively high, despite more assignments than the same month last year.
📝 Advertisers
The number of active advertisers was higher than in December 2024, but lower than in November. The December slowdown follows a well-established seasonal pattern.
🗺️ Geography
Across the Nordics, capital regions and major cities held up better in December. This indicates that larger urban areas were more resilient to the seasonal slowdown than other regions.
🏠 Remote work (Nordics)
Compared with November 2025, December shows a clear decline:
Assignments allowing remote work decreased
Hybrid assignments also decreased
This confirms a typical year-end pattern, rather than a structural shift in how work is organised.
