Yet Another Tough Month
📉 November was a tough month, both for the freelance and consulting industry and for me personally. The market for assignments took a noticeable downturn, with 14.7% fewer assignments compared to the same month last year.
Changes for individual roles, however, were much smaller. There were slight increases for roles like Data X, UX, and SAP. DevOps continued its upward trend, while engineering roles trended downward.
Major cities saw a 3% increase in assignments, a trend visible across the Nordics. Remote assignments rose compared to the previous month, but when compared to November last year, there was a slight decline.
