Magnus is an experienced manager with a deep technological background and understanding. As the consulting part of Entertainity grew it needed more and more focus, and in 2015 the decision was made to separate it into it’s own company. In April Entecon AB was founded, and Magnus was appointed to CEO of the company. The main focus for Entecon is being expert developers of video solutions. Over the last three years Entecon has grown to 12 employees and a number of subcontractors. Entecon has successfully had both in-house projects as well as developers being placed and customers offices.

Voddler was a Swedish company that a few years back pivoted to be a SaaS company. Magnus was brought in to lead the work to modernize the platform to support formats like HLS and DASH. After a few months it was decided to move the entire Tech Organization of Voddler to Entecon. Magnus took over as CTO, and Entecon handled all technical roles from Product Management, and the Development team to QA and Support.

In February 2008 Magnus started his own business together with three friends. Entertainity originally started as a combined consulting and product company, and eventually it became the parent company for Filmtipset AB (which Magnus was the Chairman and CEO of until it was sold in 2017), Lissly, and Entecon AB.

Magnus was the chairman and CEO of Sweden's largest movie community. Filmtipset started as a hobby project by the founders of Entertainity in 2000, but as it grew it was turned into a company, and from 2013 until it was sold Magnus was responsible for the team and site. The team consisted of a Community Manager, a part time developer.

Magnus was responsible for development of an OMADRM client in C++ to support multiple platforms (Android, Windows, iOS, Mac). Developed the protection of the entire player solution using White Box crypto and other hardening methods using security products from Arxan. Supported other developers regarding video players and DRM protection.

After the California based company Telestream Inc acquired the Episode product from Teleca AB Magnus was promoted to be in charge of the entire Stockholm based tech-team. His responsibilities included Development, QA, and support teams for the Episode product suite, including personnel responsibilities.

When Teleca AB bought Popwire Magnus was promoted to be in charge of the team that was developing video- and audio-codecs as well as any video- and audio processing filters for the Episode Product series (including Mpeg1, 2, 4, and H.263 and H.264).
