Project role: Workstream Lead – Source to Pay.

It’s very important that the Workstream Lead has a deep understanding of the Source to Pay area, both from Business perspective and from the ERP/System perspective. We do not search for a generic Project Manager.

Scope and range:
March 2024 – July 2024 (and most likely extended beyond that)

Background:
Our customer is embarking on a strategic transition to a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Their aim is to optimize business processes, improve cross-departmental information flow, and enhance data management capabilities.

The program consists of a number of workstreams. This request is for a workstream lead for Source to Pay, SAP S/4HANA. The role is responsible for the full delivery of the workstream, and ensuring the best solution for the customer– from a business and system perspective.

It's very important that the Workstream Lead has a deep understanding of the Source to Pay area, both from Business perspective and from the ERP/System perspective. We do not search for a generic Project Manager.


Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the successful delivery of the workstream.
- And coordinate with other relevant workstreams.
- Report program Program Management
- Provide context and expertise, and ensure best possible solution
- Not only including SAP, but also relevant legacy systems and processes.
- Measure and monitor progress to ensure that the workstream is delivered on time. Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, issues and risks and dependencies towards other projects.
- Drive and recommend resolution/closure of identified solution gaps
- Ensure stakeholder collaboration (reference groups), meeting forums and expectation management.
- Ensure that relevant decision needs are identified, prepared and resolved.
- Coordinate with Change Management
- Change effort will mainly be within order management and sales, but also potentially with our customers and other partners.

- Monitor and mitigate Risks and Issues, escalate unresolved risks and issues to Program Management.​
- Manage and coordinate resources. In close collaboration with business process lead.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- A degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information
Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications in SAP S/4 HANA
- Experience in SAP Ariba, Fieldglass and Business Network are advantageous

Professional Experience:
- 10+ years proven experience in project management, with both business and system dimensions.
- Experience with process, and cross-process related topics and driving the resolution of identified gaps.
- +10 years experience in the Source to Pay area
- Experience with both custom-built and ERP-systems, and a strong understanding of their integration challenges.
- Experience working in large implementation programs preferably driven by a SI partner.

Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.

Change Management:
- Experience in managing change from both business and systems perspective.

Location and Mobility:
On-site as the base. Remote most likely one day a week.
