Senior Solution/Software Architect

We are now looking for a Senior Solution Architect for our media sector client to start asap.

In this role of Senior Solution Architect you will guide the development of product and technology landscape towards a harmonized set of IT products. This position is more of an IT and domain Solution Architect role than a customer product Solution Architect role. The client is looking for more Software Architects than 'Cloud' Architect candidates.

To do this the Architect collaborates with Product Managers, Product Owners, RTEs and teams in the agile release trains the client has implemented, give guidance to the development teams and collaborate with the colleagues in the international team on defining reference architecture.

Key responsibilities:

• Define solutions within the roadmap following the agreed architecture principles and guidelines

• Align designs, recommendations and solutions with the different stakeholders, teams and initiatives throughout the organization
• Analyse the technical condition and the functional use of components, platforms and applications in the light of business- and technology developments.
• Contribute in the creation and enforcement of principles, policies and guidelines for developing employee facing applications.
• Propose initiatives to centralize, upgrade or replace components, platforms and off-the-shelf products.
• Develop the architecture documentation that describes a part of the architecture to be realized within a project.
• Support the creation and analysis of business cases for front office solutions lifecycle

• A good sparring partner for development teams as well as process experts/key persons
• Enthusiastic to drive strategic changes to the operations of our client´s development team and stakeholders
• Self-starter, working effectively and independently
• Able to multi-task and establish priorities in good relation with key persons

Requirements:

• At least five years of experience as solution architect in a Frontoffice or Backoffice environment
• At least three years of experience with ERP systems architecture (SAP, Oracle) and Master Data Management/Product Information Management solutions
• Knowledge and proven experience of C4 Model, TOGAF, ArchiMate and design patterns
• Knowledge about tools: Miro, Confluence and Jira
• Knowledge of the AWS ecosystem
• Knowledge about Restful API integration patterns and use of Postman tool
• Experience with integrations, (micro) services or modular development
• Experience in working in an international environment
• Driving force during the development of the solution architecture
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in e.g. Computer Science or Business Information Management
• Programming skills in Python & Java are a plus
• Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce and Magento V2 is a plus

Hybrid model: preferable 2 days per week in the office
Allocation: 37,5h pw in Finland / 40 hours pw in the Netherlands
