Engineering Director

emagine is looking for Senior Engineering Director for a very exciting assignment in Stockholm that will focus much on building robust governance framework for the engineering departments.

About the assignment

Spearhead the development and execution of robust governance frameworks within an engineering department consisting of approximately 40 teams and 300 individuals.

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to industry and company regulations and standards.

Lead the creation and upkeep of secure and scalable systems, prioritizing governance protocols in partnership with Cybersecurity teams.

Establish and uphold sustainable and efficient engineering policies, integrating automated code analysis tools, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines to ensure code quality, compliance, and favorable developer engagement.

Cultivate a culture of responsibility, transparency, and risk management within the technology organization.

Remain informed about and proactive in adopting emerging technologies and governance trends to continuously enhance systems and processes, positively influencing stakeholders throughout the organization.

Collaborate with executive leadership to align engineering initiatives with overarching business objectives.

Your profile:

Proven track record as a senior engineering leader with emphasis on governance and/or risk management.

Comprehensive understanding of risk, regulatory, and compliance requirements in the engineering realm.

Demonstrated success in implementing and enhancing governance frameworks within intricate technical ecosystems and large-scale engineering entities.

Ability to navigate complex technical hurdles and deliver strategic solutions.

Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
