Senior Full-stack / Frontend Engineer

emagine is looking for a senior Full-stack Engineer with more experience in frontend side, to join a cross-functional team . We are looking for someone with solid experience in the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express. js, React, and Node). We are looking for candidates based in Stockholm. Assignment starts as soon as possible and initial 6 months contract.

You will get a unique chance to participate in building and maintaining Interactive Web solutions on top of our Big data infrastructure for CRM, Retention, Data analytics, marketing automation, and integration. Also, you will work with different teams across the world as we support global marketing operations. You should be able to wear different hats in our Agile team as you will have the opportunity to play different roles in both frontend and backend. We put quality and applying processes on top of everything as we design and implement solutions from end to end within our team. Our Team is growing, so you will also be a part of building our engineering and development culture for high performance and quality.

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required.

 

The Daily

Contribute to building front-end applications and backend APIs and services.

Participate in the design Client-Side architecture.

Build design system for frontend Components and UI guidelines.

Able to build wireframes, branded UI and participate in UX.

Ability to work with different cloud solutions and design architecture.

Ability to work with different database technologies.

Able to produce efficient technical documents.

Develop new ideas and propose innovative solutions to cover business needs.

Contribute to the development of our ways of working with a focus on agile/scrum methods.

Implement different types of testing (Unit, Integration, E2E)

 

The Essentials

8+ years of overall technical and software development experience.

4+ years of Solid experience with MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express. js, React, and Node)

3+ years of experience working with AWS with serverless architecture and cloud engineering principles.

Proficiency with fundamental front-end concepts such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Typescript.

Familiarity with database technologies such as DynamoDB and MongoDB.

Experience with unit testing tools like Jest and E2E testing like cypress

Knowledge of using Figma and other design tools.

Excellent verbal communication and teamwork skills.

Fluent English as all communication and deliverables will be in English.

Nice to Have

Experience working with CRM and cross-channel messaging tools, preferably Braze, Blueshift, or SFMC.
