About the assignment:
Model Development Programme (MDP) is governed via a “hybrid ways of working”, meaning the Project manager must have proven experience of managing large complex transformation programme's through traditional project management with a combination of a deep understanding of the Agile/SAFe framework and ways of working.

Role description:
• Program Governance: Implement and maintain project governance frameworks to ensure projects align with program strategy and compliance requirements. Oversee project documentation and ensure adherence to project management standards and methodologies.
• Planning and Scheduling: Assist in project planning, including the definition of project scopes, objectives, and deliverables. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring they are updated and reflective of project changes.
• Epic Portfolio Management: Oversee the strategic integration and management of the Epic portfolio. Monitor the progress of Epics projects and ensuring the delivery and progress.
• Resource Management: Support resource planning and allocation across projects within the IT delivery program. Work with project managers and leads to identify resource needs and manage resource availability and constraints.
• Reporting and Analysis: Develop and distribute regular project reports to stakeholders, providing insights on project status, performance metrics, risks, and issues.
• Risk and Issue Management: Facilitate risk identification and assessment processes. Support the implementation of mitigation strategies and action plans for risk and issue management. Maintain risk and issues logs and ensure appropriate communication and escalation.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet predefined quality standards. Support quality assurance efforts through process implementation and conducting project audits or quality risk assessments.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key liaison among project stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration. Organize and participate in stakeholder meetings, ensuring clear and consistent project updates are provided.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in project management processes and delivery practices. Contribute to the development of best practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand project management capabilities.

Background and experience:
• Minimum 8-10 years of Project management experience
• Experience in Financial Services, preferrable in the Credit risk domain
• Accustomed to work in large and complex IT architecture landscapes

Key qualities:
• Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., JIRA) and MS Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, curious and a positive can-do attitude, embraces continuous improvements
• Strong stakeholder management experience and effective communication skills
