QA Engineer

emagine is looking for an experienced QA engineer to our client with start asap and 6 months contract.  Assignment is fully remote anywhere from Sweden. We are looking for a proactive and driven person who is not afraid to take initiative and suggest improvements. You will work with our clients web portal.

 

What you will do:

Develop and maintain quality assurance processes, procedures, and results documentation.

Design and execute tests to identify defects, bugs, and issues in software products. Using various testing techniques for functional testing to ensure that the software meets the specified requirements and functions correctly.

Develop and document test plans, test cases, test results and test scripts to guide the testing process.

Log and track defects in a defect tracking system and work closely with the development team to resolve defects in a prioritized manner. This includes verifying that defects are fixed and conducting retesting to ensure the resolution is effective.

Prepare test reports that summarize the testing activities, test results, and any outstanding defects. This includes providing feedback to the development team and other stakeholders on the quality of the software being tested.

Identify areas for process improvement in the software development lifecycle and suggest changes to enhance the quality and efficiency of testing activities.
