Software Engineer - Digital Core

For our client Volvo Cars we are looking for a Software Engineer to Digital Core.

Then you are the DevOps person Volvo Cars is looking for.

You will be a part of development team that develop tools for tracing changes to car SW that is subject to certification in certain markets. Volvo Cars is involved in connecting the complete SW development chain, from source code to software application in complete vehicle. They work as an agile, cross-functional, empowered team with responsibly to develop and manage the SW tracing and visualization tool, which include many different areas that needs to be combined and developed.

In this position you will work in an agile environment where you as a developer are empowered to bring requirements all the way from the reviewing stage to production ready functionality, while also working with code reviews and setting up plans for how to architect the code to have top notch quality and allow for quick changes.

What you will do
Typical tasks performed are SW design, SW development, write tests for your own code, write end user documentation, build user experiences using frontend technologies and support end user. You will be working with VCC top competences within DevOps, a cross-functional team with skills in e.g. TypeScript, NodeJS, React, Neo4J GraphQL, Bash, and software architecture. Volvo Cars collaborates and shares knowledge, and you will grow and develop even further by working with highly skilled colleagues and product area, which they are very proud of.

Required Competences

• Fluid in writing Typescript code
• NodeJS – experience working with Apollo-server

In this position its valued if you have

• At least 4+ years of documented experience of working within IT, in a role as a developer
• Have been working with requirements with direct contact to the client
• Previous experience in data analytics tools
• Have a good understanding of the Agile development process
