Senior UX Designer Volvo Cars

For our client Volvo Cars we are looking for a Senior UX Designer - Subject Matter Expert within Referral Experience.

Volvo Cars is looking for a Subject Matter Expert who has strong design thinking and problem solving skill for customer-facing product creation to join the team. This individual will play a critical role in the design and development of the new referral program aimed at enhancing customer acquisition and owner loyalty. Collaborating closely with both the Product Manager, Engineering manager and Engineering team, the ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing user-centric solutions for both the website and mobile products on new car referral program.

Role Responsibilities:

• Work with the Product and Engineering Managers and take primary responsibility in conceptualizing and developing the user journey for the referral program.
• Design and deliver high-quality mockups and prototypes for website and app development, ensuring an optimal user experience.
• Work with team to conduct user research to gather first hand user insights.
• Utilize user feedback and data to inform and iterate on design choices.
• Maintain a user-centered design approach, advocating for user needs and preferences throughout the product development process.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in UX design, specifically with customer-facing digital products.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a history of creating effective user-centered design solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• A critical thinker with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Experience with user experience research and automotive industry is a plus.
• Design experience with referral programs or loyalty programs is a plus.
