2 x systems operations engineer

Our client  is in search of two Systems Operations Engineer to assist in the effective management and operation of contemporary technologies as we expand our capabilities and product offerings. Renowned globally as a diverse financial technology, trading, and information services provider, our client serves businesses and investors across six continents, operating from over 50 offices in 26 countries – and in every major capital market.

Your role:

Addressing incoming issues, resolving incidents, and launching new versions. Additionally, you’ll be involved in performance testing and executing recovery procedures for various releases. Engaging in numerous exciting projects, you’ll contribute to the enhancement and introduction of new improvements and products.

Key responsibilities include:

Active participation in application-related activities such as addressing incoming issues, incident resolution, requirements handling, and new release launches
Designing, planning, and implementing changes to existing systems and introducing new solutions
Planning and executing non-functional and performance testing
Serving as a specialist in operational issues, questions, and requirements
Involvement in various projects related to current and new customers
Maintenance of operational documentation essential for second-line operation
Project management and independent execution of our segments in large implementation projects

To be eligible for this role (must):

Experience in DevOps, System Administration, Network, Application Operations, or a related area
Knowledge of Linux/Unix
Proficiency in Scripting (Perl, Python, etc.) and Databases (SQL) is advantageous
Familiarity with Cloud Computing, Containerization (Docker), and Container Orchestration (Kubernetes) is beneficial
(Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline)
Strong language skills in written and spoken English
