emagine is looking for a Safety Surveillance Consultant to ensure the quality and integrity of safety data in ordre to perform aggregate analysis.
Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced safety surveillance consultant to join the Next Generation Safety project. The Next Generation Safety project is an initiative to digitally transform end-to-end pharmacovigilance (PV) processes .
The project aims to leverage modern technology to support global process and system improvements, which will strengthen the company's position as a strategic partner in securing world-class patient safety.
We are looking for a colleague to support us in signal detection tasks within this project with a focus on ensuring the safety database data and associated logic are fit for aggregate analysis.  
Your main responsibilities will include: 
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of migrated data for surveillance purposes. 
Develop and test data migration strategies for surveillance purposes, including identification of which data need to be cleaned prior to migration. 
Identify and ensure adequate resolution to data quality issues that could impact surveillance activities. 
Develop and implement a strategy for testing and validation of safety data in surveillance’s downstream applications.  
Support ongoing safety surveillance activities as needed. 
Must-have skills:
A higher university degree in a relevant field e.g. life sciences, pharmacology or a related field 
Familiarity with data structure in safety database 
An understanding of the link between the data structure in the safety database and how safety surveillance uses data  
Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety surveillance or pharmacovigilance 
Signal detection experience using aggregate analysis of safety database data 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently. 
Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
Nice-to-have skills:
Familiarity with Argus as a safety database
Experience of validation activities 
Experience with data migration and data quality management processes 
Start date: 1st of April.
End date: End of the year.
