This role will act in the Warranty and Service Contract area where UCHP – Unified Claim Handling Process - is the main solution. As Solution Architect for UCHP you will work with the solution’s technical performance and development. It’s a financial critical system with 30.000+ users all over the world. Our client is now starting a modernization journey, as part of their digital transformation for UCHP, updating technology and re-structuring of the complete solution (migrating server, database and changing to API based services).

They are now seeking an experienced Solution Architect who will play an important role in UCHP going forward with:
• Modernization journey
• North Star security compliance
• Future claim journey
• MQ modernization
• Access management
• Improving preparations for VICS audit

Your main activities and responsibilities
As a Solution Architect and part of a global unit you will actively cooperate with various stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment. You will support the UCHP delivery teams by driving and finding navigation paths through this modern landscape described in North Star and Cloud.
Examples of activities:
• Stay on top of North Star directions.
• Keep yourself updated with Azure and Cloud.
• Raise and follow up various requests towards HCL, Enterprise Architects, DevSecOps, Technology, Data, etc.
• Create detailed documentation.
Competencies:
• Understanding a complex application landscape with broad, and not necessarily deep, knowledge in the infrastructure.
• Well knowledged in Volvo processes and how to navigate the Volvo organization, preferably a wide network of contacts.

You will be a good fit if:
• You have 5+ years of hands-on experience with application development, using RESTful API’s, async-messaging and testing frameworks.
• You have 5+ years of architect responsibilities.
• You have good analytical skills and are a good problem solver.
• You have good knowledge of cyber security concepts
• You have experience working with risk management
• You have excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills
• You are customer focused with the ability to work closely with business stakeholder
• You are a team player but proficient in managing individual tasks
• You have experience with Jenkins, GitHub and other CI/CD tools.
• You have experience working with any Enterprise Application Server
• You have experience with Azure
Competencies
• Good communication skills, in Swedish and English, both verbal and writing
