Ronja, founded by three ex-Northvolters, aims to simplify manufacturing with next-generation software.

Despite manufacturing’s global impact, its productivity has plateaued since 2010 due to outdated software and anticipated worker shortages. Factories also face increasing pressure to reduce their carbon footprints.

Ronja is stepping in to address these challenges. We are making collaboration between humans and machines seamless while empowering those who understand factory operations best. Our continuously evolving software bridges the gap between old and new, utilizing industrial AI for improved productivity.

The role:

We’re a team of three co-founders seeking our first hire, a designer who thrives in ambiguity and takes initiative. We believe in the consumerization of design to enhance our B2B product. As a startup, we value versatility, but your primary focus will be on UX, UI, design language, and marketing.

Work as an integrated part to the founders in defining and executing company- and product strategy
Work closely with the founders to define and design the product
Leading and defining design strategy, design principles, and information architecture
Lead product design work
Lead and shape the design language
Shape and evolve how our brand identity shows up in the user experience
Work with the founders to develop a compelling narrative and sales material

Who we are looking for:

We understand that we have high expectations in what to bring, however, what’s more important than ticking all the boxes is the willingness to learn and develop with the company.

A can-do attitude and user obsession
+5 years of experience in design roles, preferably within different sectors and niches
A mindset to learn the skills required to help taking the company to the next stage
Experience in supporting business development to ensure sales material is crisp
Experience in UX design – understanding how different UX-concepts are applicable on different user groups and applications
Experience in UI design – designing information- and analytics dense applications including 3D-context
Experience in setting up component libraries and setting design principles
Experience in working with designer tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Blender, etc.
It’s a plus if you have previous experience in company building, either as a founder or early co-founder
