Software Developer – Android Development

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Developer to join their Android Development team specializing in Energy Management Solutions. The team primarily works with in-house developed software, leveraging Java, Android SDK, and occasionally C++, to integrate Energy Management functionalities with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) experiences.
 

As an Android developer within Energy Management, your focus will be on transforming backend energy data into user-friendly graphs, meters, and metrics, aligning with specified design standards. The objective is to provide users with insights into their energy consumption in an intuitive manner and offer guidance on how to optimize it. The team is responsible for testing its software rigorously in both rig and car environments before deployment to the Infotainment node. Therefore, adopting a car-holistic approach and demonstrating a hands-on mindset are essential.
 

Your specific role and tasks will depend on the expertise and experience you bring to the team. Nonetheless, collaboration with various internal and external teams and individuals within the department will be a key aspect of your responsibilities.
