Assignment Description
Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Process Implementation:
- Conduct gap analysis and develop action plans to implement SW processes like ASPICE.
- Coach the team on adhering to SW processes.
- Prepare reports and documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements Analysis:
- Analyze and comprehend software function requirements in steering systems.
Software Design and Development:
- Design and execute software functions based on system requirements.
- Create test cases from software requirements.
Integration and Testing:
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure software function reliability and functionality.
Debugging and Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve software defects, bugs, and performance issues.
- Utilize debugging tools and techniques for problem diagnosis and resolution.
Documentation:
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of software designs, code, and testing procedures.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system engineers, and other software developers, to achieve project objectives.
- Participate in design reviews and team meetings.
Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure software functions comply with relevant automotive standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in SW industrialization and ASPICE.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols, such as CAN.
- Familiarity with functional safety standards like ISO 26262.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in automotive software development within Steering Systems.
