Assignment Description
Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a SW Test Engineer in Car Config. You will test the carconfig applications to configure the right SW and HW for the different variants of our client’s cars. Test environments range from box car, HIL, CIL to complete vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prioritize, and coordinate the work with your colleagues in the team.
- Analyze the requirements, develop test cases, drive the implementation of test automation, and integrate them into the CI Chain.
- Develop test cases for requirements and implement test cases in CI Device.
- Identify test needs, execute tests, and drive the implementation of test automation.
- Implement failure mode test cases.
- Support fault tracing and/or troubleshooting activities.
- Contribute to system testing and update of test methods, tools, and processes.
- Contribute to the team’s test strategy and work with other team members to improve the team’s overall test strategy and quality of test.
- Be a member of the agile team as well as managing interfaces with stakeholders internally and externally.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent documented experience.
- Driving license Swedish B or equivalent.
Good software development skills and knowledge in:
- Python/CAPL
- Robot Framework/Jenkins
- Git/Gerrit
- Matlab/Simulink
- Vector tools
- Jira
- Automation testing tools.
Knowledge and awareness of:
- ISO 13400 DoIP protocol
- CAN – 15765, ISO 14229 UDS protocol Wake-up strategies
- CANoe
- DSA
- External/Internal Tester Priority State Machine
- Logical architecture of Client Connection
- Routers – Edge node and Gateway module
- Requirement handling.
- Knowledge and understanding of C and C++ coding.
- Experience working in a SAFe/Agile team and environment.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of Vehicle Mode Management is meritorious.
- ECU Activation and De-activation Sequence
- P2P, Eth LAN, WLAN, Tester and Client Connections, EDCC FR – Requirements and Subsystems, Vehicle speed, Vehicle modes, and Usage modes.
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP including is meritorious.
- System Engineering experience is meritorious.
- System Weaver tool experience is meritorious.
- Elektra tool experience is meritorious.
