Senior Automation Engineer – Stockholm – 100% On site

We are now searching for a Senior Automation Engineer on behalf of our customer in Stockholm. The customer is working with battery energy systems and are a smaller company with the possibility to work differently than larger competitors.

 

In the role as Senior Automation Engineer, you will be an important piece within digitalization, automation, and cyber security. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the architecture, development, and implementation of the software for the control system for their battery energy storage systems. Also, you will take part in the commissioning of their battery systems, and participate in setting up requirements for the hardware.

 

Your responsibilities will for instance include: 

·      Programming of control, PLC, and HMI/Scada

·      Testing, commissioning, and plant follow-up

·      Network, system configuration and Cyber Security

·      Integration of third-party services into control system

·      Technical specifications, studies, planning, and cost assessments

·      Communication within automation systems and other industrial systems

Since it is a smaller company, you will have different variating work tasks including defining the processes of how they work. Furthermore, it is important that you have great collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently and proactively. 

 

Desired profile: 

·       +5 years of experience in engineering or other relevant experiences 

·       Engineering degree in automation/electronics or equivalent

·       Knowledge in automation and electrical engineering

·       Previous experience in industrial networks, including cyber security 

·       Experience in setting up cloud databases and cloud analysis platforms

·       Experience from working in the energy industry and/or r battery industry

·       Previous experience in building software at Beckhoff PLC is highly desired

·       Fluent in English, both written and spoken

·       Proficiency in other Nordic languages is a plus
