Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer consultant/freelancer for our client in the central of Gothenburg. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and automation. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in automated testing, with proficiency in scripting using Python or shell.

You will join a team consists of other developers and testers.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage

- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites to streamline testing processes

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test cases for automation

- Investigate and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and propose solutions

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and testability

- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years in software testing, with a focus on automated testing

- Worked with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or shell

- Worked with automated testing frameworks and tools, such as Pytest and Robot.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Communication and collaboration abilities

- Valid driver's license
