DB2 Tech Lead

Description:

In Bank you have the opportunity to:

- Be advisory and lead for technical futureproofing of the bank’s Db2 products and strategies

- Stay updated on latest technical advancements and how to create value out of them (participate in conferences, educations and etc)

- Lead and advice on new and existing solutions to fit client's development

- Review and have approval mandate on technical solutions proposed by partner

- In cooperation with APO set framework (goals and constraints) for vendor operations of the bank’s environments

- Coordinate common activities to uphold the bank perspective to changes etc

- Participate in operational meetings with partner (daily huddles, capacity – continuity forums, incident / problem forums etc.)

- Support with quality assurance of routines / plannings / etc

What is needed in this role:

- Experience in Db2 database administration and utilities with a focus on operational efficiency and quality

- Experience in Db2 infrastructure with a focus on operational efficiency and quality

- Problem solving skills to help the troubleshooting in case of incidents

- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify areas for improvement

- Good communicative skills

Bridging between IT and operations Extensive experience with DB2. They have been trying to recruit this skill for 3-4 months now and they have not been able to find anyone who fits

They need a teach lead it is going to be a springboard between Poland and Sweden.

Familiar with DB2 and be good to communicate.

I need a person that’s understand the bank on the DB2 area. How the set up is in the bank. Would be able to consult with both business and developers. To understand their changes with the bank. Helping manager to create the roadmap. Be able to dig into the system to bring out information.
