Epico IT is searching for two (2) Senior IT Project Managers for a client in the Greater Copenhagen Area, Denmark

The position
As a Project Manager in Corporate Infrastructure, you will be part of an existing project team, that handles a large portfolio of both small and large IT infrastructure projects. We work with IT infrastructure projects, such as WAN/LAN/Wireless deployment projects. Your role will be to act as a service broker / project manager between our network team and engineers, electricians, building management and others involved in the IT infrastructure projects.
You will be responsible for:
Rolling out deployment project of new IT infrastructure expansions
Ensuring that the projects proceed as planned, deadlines are met and that you communicate with many different professional groups.
Follow IT infrastructure standards
Coordination between various stakeholders, both internal and external partners, to ensure that tasks are performed on time.
Status reporting and finances/budget for your projects.
Act as project manager role model and apply good practices in a fast paced environment
Required Skill/Experience/Education and Qualifications
We imagine that the right candidate has proven Project manager experience from a large global organization. In addition, it is considered an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have a knowledge about IT Infrastructure, IT operation processes, understanding of WAN, LAN, Wireless network, knowledge of Asset Management and Life Cycle Management of network devices.
In details, we are looking for:
• Minimum 5years of Project manager experience
• Preferably certified in Prince2, ITIL or the like
• Strong, professional communication skills in English, both verbal and written,
• Ability to approach people using appropriate level of detail, terminology, and style.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and a ‘can-do-attitude’
• Strong team player – you are transparent in your work and can help more junior colleagues if needed.
• Good understanding and/or hands-on experience in the conception and implementation of IT infrastructure projects in various facilities
• Knowledge about Routing, switching & wireless networking services is an advantage
