Installation package leader electrical

Assignment is on site in Lund, Sweden 100%.

12 month rolling contract.

Description of the Services and Main Responsibilities

The following are the types of services required by this procurement:

Leading, management of installations projects for activities listed; cable raceways, mesh-trays, cabinets, and standard racks structured cabling, low-voltage, and optical fiber.
Overseeing the quality control work including inspection plans
Creating and reviewing associated design documentation such as work instructions, risk assessments, installation readiness reviews, and other installation-related documents.
Coordination of subcontractors
Planning, communicating, and follow up of installation time schedules

Description of Qualifications/Prerequisite (Educational and Work Experience)

The following are required qualifications:

Proven experience for several years as an installation lead
Hands-on experience in network installations such as category 6A/7 and optical fiber
Ability to self-organise, prioritise, and multitask
Good analytical skills and flexible attitude
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

The candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, be self-motivated, take own initiatives, and pay attention to details.

The Scope of the Assignment

In this position, the candidate will be responsible for the quality and schedule of various extra-low voltage electrical installation packages within the project. Most of the work will be done through selected installation contractors, which require good communication skill and experience to work through and with other managers. The Installation Package Leader is responsible for:

The installation preparation work leading up to Installation Readiness Review (IRR)
The actual installation on site and coordination of installation inspections and quality inspections and documentation
Ensuring the installation follows all rules and regulations during installation and that necessary documents and material are available in time for the installation work.

The Installation Package Leader's Mandate:

Steering and controlling the installation
Making decisions and priorities within the Installation Package.
Making decisions about cost changes (within frames) during the installation.
Giving needed support/improve the contractors' progress
