In this job, you’ll build big data services and pipelines using Scala.
You’ll create algorithms to match data, find mistakes, and make systems simpler, bigger, and faster.
You’ll also find ways to improve the process, like automating tasks and suggesting new features.
If you’re quick at solving problems and love being creative, this job is for you.

Must haves
 

- Able to wear multiple hats, having a "do what it takes"- ability and attitude
- Strong programming and design skills
- Deep knowledge and extensive experience of the JVM, Scala
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

- Event Streaming, e.g Kafka
- Ability to design and implement APIs and REST services
- Experience with one or more application frameworks like Spark, Akka, Play
- Big data ETL and data streaming
- NoSQL Databases
- Experience or knowledge on how to apply Machine Learning or AI to large amounts of data
