Roberto Moretti

Over the course of my career I have developed skills and experience in the IT and Finance sectors within the areas of project management, operational management, change and incident management as well as technical support and coordinator duties.

My goal is to possess a thorough understanding of business requirements and any associated constraints and how these relate to the maintenance and reliability of the platform and/or applications involved, to produce IT valuable deliverables. I focus on client’s needs, lead globally distributed IT teams to achieve smart and profitable solutions while keeping the overall picture, risks and dependencies in mind.

I always strive to ensure the fast, predictable and uninterrupted flow of planned work that delivers value to the business, while minimizing the impact and disruption of unplanned work, thus ensuring a stable and secure IT service. I ensure that all activities and projects I manage are within scope, time and budget, whilst enabling and promoting effective communication between all stakeholders and associated teams, applying PRINCE2 process and principles.

My studies in Physics have also helped me to develop data driven problem-solving skills and to adopt a pragmatic and analytical approach, as well as to solve challenges with creative thinking.
Some of the tools that I utilize to drive strategic and complex initiatives for global companies such as NASDAQ, Danske Bank and Nordnet, are:

• Structured Project and Problem framing, business analysis, change management, risk assessment and agile solution implementation
• Informative and collaborative relationship management between clients, development, infrastructure teams and relevant stakeholders
• Positive leadership where I coach, manage and empower cross-country teams with varied backgrounds and skill sets to maximize their input, efficiency and potential
