<div>We are now looking for a SE_Mechanical Engineering – Components and Products – Associate Engineer (Level 1) to Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Ludvika.<p></p><p><strong><em>NOTE: This is a very Junior role (Level 1) – please submit candidates accordingly.</em></strong></p><p><strong>Description:<br></strong>Mechanical Engineering encompasses a variety of engineering assignments such as planning, designing, and modifying machinery, equipment, and products. It also co-ordinates activities internally and with other groups to effectively accomplish objectives requiring knowledge of associated functions and related engineering fields. Use computers and selected programs for such matters as preparing reports and conducting analyses.</p><p>Follow specific instructions of supervisor or senior engineers to perform the less complex professional assignments requiring application of standard engineering principles and practices.</p><p><strong>Minimum requirements of education and experience:<br></strong>• 0-2 years of work experience within the relevant field, and a bachelor’s degree or<br>• Another technical degree with less than 10 years of work experience within the relevant field.<br>• Working command of the English language.<br> <br> <br><strong>Additional Hiring Information for Supplier<br></strong><em>Mandatory presence in Ludvika needed 100%.</em></p></div><ul><li>Perform mechanical design tasks using NX/Teamcenter and collaborate with colleagues to solve design challenges.</li><li>Prepare production and installation drawings, purchasing documents, and project documentation.</li><li>Interpret customer specifications, standards, and instructions.</li><li>Interact with customers, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve delivery scope and participate in technical discussions and customer meetings.</li><li>Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to safety standards.</li><li>Support assembly factory, testing facilities, and site installation.</li><li>Contribute to strategic initiatives focused on increased productivity, quality, and continuous improvements.</li></ul><div><strong>Your background</strong></div><ul><li>Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar area.</li><li>Knowledge of 3D-modeling and performing 2D-drawings/layouts (ideally in NX/Teamcenter environment).</li><li>Ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and consistently setting and striving to achieve your goals.</li><li>You are responsible and feel confident in making informed decisions without constant supervision.</li><li>Proficiency in English is required, knowledge in Swedish is a great advantage.</li></ul><div> <br> <br><strong>EXPLANATION ON LEVELS:</strong><br>Levels with numbers (1-5): Increasing experience from<span> </span><strong>1=Very Junior</strong><span> </span>up to<strong><span> </span>5=Very Experienced</strong><br>Levels with letters (A-F): Increasing experience from<strong><span> </span>F=Very Junior<span> </span></strong>up to<strong><span> </span>A=Very Experienced</strong><br> </div>
