<p><span>Test Automation Engineer – Python Specialist</span></p><p><span>We are looking for a skilled and driven Test Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Python to help shape the quality of next-generation technical systems. In this role, you'll be a key contributor in developing automated testing environments and frameworks—ideally in contexts involving robotics, embedded systems, or simulation.</span></p><p><b><span>About the role</span></b></p><p><span>As a Test Automation Engineer, you will:</span></p><ul><li><span>Design, implement, and maintain automated test solutions using Python.</span></li><li><span>Collaborate closely with developers, system engineers, and test leads to ensure product quality across the development lifecycle.</span></li><li><span>Contribute to the development and improvement of CI/CD pipelines, test strategies, and test architecture.</span></li><li><span>Work with or integrate tools for hardware simulation, robotic control, or sensor interaction where applicable.</span></li></ul><p><b><span>We’re looking for someone who:</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Has several years of hands-on experience with test automation in Python.</span></li><li><span>Is skilled at building test frameworks and infrastructure from the ground up.</span></li><li><span>Understands test-driven development (TDD) and has experience with system-level testing—ideally in embedded or robotics-related environments.</span></li><li><span>Is comfortable working in Linux environments and with version control systems like Git.</span></li><li><span>Can analyze complex technical systems and contribute to practical, scalable testing solutions.</span></li></ul><p /><p><b><span>Bonus points if you have experience with:</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Robotic control protocols such as UART, CAN, or similar.</span></li><li><span>Hardware-near programming and integration testing.</span></li><li><span>Simulation tools like Gazebo, ROS, or equivalents.</span></li><li><span>Automation tools like Docker, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.</span></li><li><span>Appius or Robot Framework for test orchestration and execution.</span></li><li><span>Soldering and hands-on work with hardware prototypes.</span></li></ul><p><b><span>What we offer:</span></b></p><ul><li><span>The opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-growing, engineering-focused organization.</span></li><li><span>Flexible working conditions and a high level of autonomy.</span></li><li><span>A collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment where your expertise will make a real impact.</span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>Start</span></b><span>: ASAP – 6 months</span></p><p><b><span>Where</span></b><span>: South of Sweden</span></p>
