We have another need connected to a 3D technical developer
In 3D DevOps we help the 3D department to make better faster image content and automated workflows for all 3D related tasks. We also convert and crunch geometry, shaders and textures for different purposes.
Mostly we use Python but sometimes maxscript, .net, c++ and ruby. The main applications are 3dsMax 2019 with V-Ray as render engine, Sketchup and PDG (SideFX). Occasionally we also do frontend plugins with PySide.
There is a bunch of other applications as well like Houdini, Photoshop, Nuke, ZBrush, Marvelous Designer, Unreal, Unity and more.
The assignment can vary a lot, everything from small 30-minute jobs to months’ worth off coding.
There are many systems to integrate to and API understanding and database knowledge both SQL and NoSQL are a must.
The systems are both home brew and bought so this is something you learn at site.
To mention a few bought ones, we use Censhare and Shotgun.
We use GitHub as our code repo and 2 weeks sprints to do development.

We would like to start as soon as possible.
Three months full time to start with. Extension is possible.
The work will take place 4 days a week in Älmhult and 1 day at other location if needed (specific day is decided in the team).
