Assignment description
As a Software Engineer, are you ready for your next challenge? Our customer is now in need of a Engineer that can support the OTA & VIDA Software Download.
For this mission it is good if you get inspired by their mission to give their customers a better car experience every day. The team is responsible for OTA System Design, Vehicle Test, Field analysis as well as Development of Software Download flow for aftermarkets systems (e.g. VIDA and OTA).
You will use your technical knowledge to help the team in:
- Development/scripting for Software Download flow in aftermarkets systems (VIDA and OTA), calibration of replaced control units, identification of all control units in the vehicle and read Diagnostic Trouble Codes
- OTA system testing activities in the complete E2E chain, from Backend IT systems to car specific installation and advanced test analysis of customer issues in systems such as Power BI and test development connected to OTA and VIDA area
- Support complete OTA System Development from Backend IT systems to car customer installations
Who you are:
- Analytical and have strong knowledge in vehicle engineering, Data analysis and Problem Solving
- Have experience from Software System Development, testing, troubleshooting, verification or integration
- Can work individually and find your own ways and methods to identify the root cause
- Enjoy learning from others as well as sharing your knowledge with your colleagues
- Communicate well in English
- Have a Master Science or Bachelor Science degree in or equivalent within Electrical, Software Engineering, or similar area of education
- Curious and want to contribute to develop the company's Software Downloads Technologies
- Driven by customer focus you get things done
- Committed to high delivery quality and can proceed your work without having all facts at hand before you start
- Flexible and have excellent communication and documentation skills
- A positive attitude and are a team player
- Experienced with Agile Software Development and familiar with Software Development best practices
- You can provide new ideas to continuously improve the product and their processes
You have following skills and qualifications:
- Very good vehicle technical knowledge
- Knowledge of distributed electrical systems and systemization of Software Development
- Experience with Software Download and OTA technologies
- Might have experience with the Software Download part of VIDA system
- Experience in function block-based scripting and programming in high level language, preferably Python coding
- Software testing and data analytics in systems like Power BI
- Experience with continuous integration, automated testing will be a plus
- Swedish driver license (B)
