Prioritize feature and maintenance requirements for R&D teams
Follow up the results from R&D teams
Lead work at high priority customer issues

Maintenance Team Lead Role
Track the In-flow of bugs both from Customers and internally from R&D
Analyze and qualify the incoming bugs
Assignment of bugs to the Maintenance team
Reproduction of critical customer bugs in the lab
Regular status meetings with the Maintenance team
Interface to TAC team and to the Pre-sales team
Planning of the maintenance releases
Handling of maintenance release activities
Expectations on general experience
Working with software development teams
Working with teams spread out over multiple sites and time zones
Agile software development (e.g. Scrum)
Networking (knowledge of network protocols and network design)
Network protocol examples:
L2: Ethernet, VLAN, Q-in-Q, LLDP
L2.5: MPLS, LDP
L3: IPv4, IPv6, OSPF, PIM, IS-IS, BGP
Tunnelling: L2TP, PPPoE, GRE, L2CP, lawful-intercept
Other: ARP/ND, BootP, DHCP, RADIUS, 802.1X, Telnet, SSH, TFTP, HTTP
Embedded software development:
Unix/Linux programming
C-language, Python, MIPS assembler
Shell scripting, TCL/Expect, PHP
Developing electronic products (preferably network products)
Atlassian Jira (for handling backlogs and customer issues)
Must speak and write English well
Good communication skills
