Assignment CodePole is now looking for a System Architect working with APIs for a leading information and technology provider to the financial industry in Sweden. The assignment is carried out on a remote basis until further notice (though if you prefer to, you are welcome to join one of our consultants working for the client at our office). The assignment is for 6 months with a high likelyhood of being prolonged.
What you will do
Being part of designing and developing the API architecture for the leading technology & information supplier for financial institutions in the Nordics
As an API Architect, you will work in collaboration with product owners, translating the customer needs into information models, API design and architecture for server-side APIs
Assess system/application components, decomposing system/application functionality, and identifying key system/application features
Develop to-be system conceptual models and architectures
Implementing and building the architecture as well as the required applications and features
Who you are
From a technical viewpoint, you have
Deep knowledge in patterns for API architecture & design for server-side APIs
Good knowledge with regards to API gateways (hands-on as well as theoretically)
Good knowledge with regards to information modelling
Good knowledge of developing using Java & Spring Boot
Good understanding and practical skills with regards to application security
In addition to this, you
Have great communication skills, being able to cooperate both with the technical and business teams
Have the skills required to understand the needs of the business side and to translate these into API-design, technical requirements and implementation steps
Enjoy hands-on work, taking on development tasks when needed
Are fluent in Swedish and professional proficiency in English
