Senior Algorithm Developer

<p><span>Our client is looking for a Senior Algorithm Developer to join an advanced R&amp;D project focusing on pattern recognition, image analysis and embedded AI. The assignment involves developing and optimizing algorithms for feature extraction, matching, and image enhancement, with strong emphasis on accuracy, performance and robustness in real-world conditions. You will work in a small, cross-functional team of engineers and researchers, collaborating closely on algorithm design, prototyping, evaluation and integration in embedded or edge-based environments. The work is hands-on and research-driven, and requires both theoretical depth and practical implementation skills.</span></p><p><span>Responsibilities: <br /></span><span>• Design and implement algorithms for image and signal processing <br />• Conduct experiments, benchmark results and perform model optimization <br />• Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to deploy algorithms on embedded platforms <br />• Contribute to research, prototyping and technical documentation <br />• Stay updated on developments in computer vision, AI and edge computing </span></p><p><span>Must-haves: <br />• Strong programming skills in Python and C++ <br />• Proven experience in computer vision, signal processing, or machine learning <br />• Hands-on experience with OpenCV and at least one major deep learning framework (PyTorch or TensorFlow) <br />• Solid understanding of pattern recognition and image feature extraction • Experience working with large datasets and performance optimization </span></p><p><span>Nice-to-haves: <br />• Experience with edge AI or resource-constrained deployment <br />• Knowledge of deep learning architectures for visual recognition <br />• Experience with image quality assessment or anti-spoofing-like evaluation <br />• Familiarity with AI model evaluation standards or test methodologies <br />• Background in secure or high-integrity systems</span></p>
