<p>Desired skill level: Senior<br />Desired starting date: 2025-01-07<br />Duration of the assignment: 12 months, with an optional extension of up to an additional 24 months divided into one or more extension periods.</p><p>Location: Lund, Sweden, 100% on-site. <br />Tools and hardware needed: The consultant will bring their laptop and personal protection equipment (hard hat, gloves, safety shoes, and high visibility vest).</p><p /><p>Mandatory education background and professional experience: </p><ul><li>Master’s degree or equivalent in technology or science.</li><li>Experience in project management/leading.</li><li>Experience in FPGA and/or embedded systems.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</li><li>Excellent oral and written English skills.</li></ul><p>Meriting education background and professional experience: </p><ul><li>Project management experience, planning, driving, team size 4-10 people.</li><li>Experience with TCP/UDP network infrastructure design, IP network protocols, and messages.</li><li>Experience from time synchronized systems.</li><li>Experience from working in a research facility or university.</li><li>Experience working with high data rates (100Gbp).</li><li>Experience of device integration into large control systems.</li></ul><p>Scope of the assignment:</p><ul><li> Lead a team of FPGA developers and hardware integrators.</li><li>Participate in the neutron scattering systems control system and data path development.</li><li>Interact with stakeholders to drive the development of controls, monitoring, and data pipelines.</li><li>Plan and execute testing and verification in collaboration with stakeholders.</li><li>Lead international development projects.</li></ul><p><br />To fit into this role, you need to be an experienced project leader capable of driving and leading projects<br />autonomously. You must be able to take initiative and adapt in a sometimes unstructured and evolving environment. Strong communication skills will be key in this highly multidisciplinary and multicultural project<br />Periodic status reporting to work package manager, and active participation in the agile development team.</p>
